SPONSORSHIPS AND DONATIONS

The cry of the underprivileged here in Africa is visible and palpable and it’s in the face of this indescribable suffering that people we invite people to make donation to one of the areas in this program; Nutrition program, Chronic Care Program (CCP), Education and Street children.

Nutrition program.
Malnutrition threatens to destroy a generation of children in Uganda. More than one third of all young children -2.4million are stunted. The damage caused by stunting is sometimes irreversible. We believe through partnership and donation to this cause, the trend will change drastically. We have a medical team that screens, adopts a nutrition plan for a specific child and implements by providing those nutritional feeds and monitoring the growth along their parents/guardians.
We have 20 homes in our community in Bbaka village and we are managing these children at our medical center in the village however, these children need nutritional support for two years to enable grow and we also help families sensitize them on how to start small agricultural income generating projects that can give them food security and provide for their children a brighter future.
A monthly donation for each child will enable us provide the needed nutritional support and medical aid in case the child is sick of simple illnesses and most of them we have identified are suffering from pneumonia, upper respiratory tract infections and diarrhea that sometimes kill these babies when not treated.

Chronic Care Program (CCP):
The prevalence of non-communicable diseases especially hypertension and diabetes is increasing in the adult and elderly population here in Africa. People of 35 years and above have been identified to be the risky age group, ministry of health has come out strongly to advocate for screening, prevention and for people to seek treatment, the alarm comes after noticing the young and old dying and the trend has been increasing both in rural and urban areas. The recent outreaches we have conducted out of 20 homes among the elderly persons 12 of them were found to be having hypertension and were diabetic. These people are still the bread winner of their families. These people can’t afford the costly monthly drug refills much as they desire. CCP is an insurance program that we have started at our medical centers to help the vulnerable elderlies access 50 adult persons of (45years and above). The selected individuals live on a dollar or less a day and buying drugs monthly will further sink them into extreme poverty.
On average 15 dollars a month can help an individual access drugs, help save lives and transform our society, give hope to the destitute.

Education:
We partner schools to help vulnerable children to access quality education within their local community. These children come from families in abject poverty, single parents and some are teenage parents. So we identify them with the local leadership and we take them back to school by doing this we are delaying early marriages, drug abuse and we shape the future of the young people.
We have partnered with two schools, one in central part of Uganda called Lidos junior school where we have 62 children that being sponsored and Path of Joy Nursery and Primary school where 54 children are being sponsored to access quality education.
Our is to reach 1,000 children in the next five years, join us as we weave a beautiful and incredible of nurturing destinies and transforming lives. God bless you.

Street children
Street children in Uganda are a product of many deep societal circumstances that have preyed upon their childhood and choked the hopes for them to become purposeful and functional adults, the burden of street children is increasing in Uganda and we need courageous men and women who can join us bring an end to the suffering of street children in Uganda.
Over 15,000 children are on the streets of Kampala city – Uganda languishing without food and no access to proper medical care, housing, education and other basic necessities that a human being requires to survive.
Strong Tower foundation is a Christian faith based organization registered and located in Kakiri town council , Wakiso district in Uganda that has passion to save vulnerable children especially orphans and street children.
Strong Tower foundation is partnering with Faith Medical Center located in the heart of the city to provide free medical care to 200 street children who will be screened and identified to have a wide range of infections and also we intend to provide some clothes with a target of rehabilitating these children and re-integrating them back into the society. Some of them are teenage mothers who need urgent care and intervention. This program will keep running annually to support these kids with a goal to reintegrate them back into society through psycho-social support, medical aid and partnering with other organizations to enable them access education.

On a medical camp we will have a team of counsellors and health workers who will treat and counsel. We are calling upon kind and well hearted people to donate towards this medical outreach camp scheduled for two days on 20th-21st of APRIL 2023. This will enable us to run the program for the next one year providing medical treatment at Faith Medical center to most of them who are ill and also enable us to do the following;
• Counseling and rehabilitation
• Medical treatment
• Reintegrating them back to community through a network of our social workers
• Teenage mothers help them enroll on our program through which they can access free antenatal and maternal services at our medical center
• Providing a meal for street children who are starving and help them overcome habits of stealing and criminal activities
• Providing clothes to raise their confidence and believe that they can look like other people in society and have a fruitful life in future.
Matthew 25:35-40
Let us join hands and save what the society calls the least but they are precious in the sight of the Lord, God bless you as consider this in your heart and as we pray for the success of this outreach.
Any amount of donation will help us raise the money to cater for the 200 kids that we have identified and are ready to benefit from the program
